Our Vision & Mission

Our vision is to empower Native American students through culturally responsive learning and education where students thrive academically, embrace their cultural history, and become leaders within their communities while achieving academic excellence. Our department will serve as a vital resource for the MPS and Native American community that is culturally inclusive, supportive, and engaging.

Our mission is to provide a supportive and culturally enriched educational experience for the Native American students of Mesa Public Schools. We are committed to building strong relationships with our Native American families, Tribal communities, and community partners. We are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and respectful learning environment that promotes Native American traditions, cultural values, and identity, while achieving academic success.
