Mesa Public Schools District, in conjunction with the Native American Education Program, recognizes the sacred significance of this event to various Native American tribes and is committed to honoring their traditional practices. In order to accommodate Native American students, Mesa Public Schools will make accommodations as necessary where students can refrain from activities and maintain a respectful demeanor during the eclipse.
